The Landscape
Why It Matters
Floorball is virtually unknown in Uganda, but it needs almost nothing to start: a hard court, a plastic ball and a stick, no grass pitch or expensive kit required. Athleco launched the country's first school floorball pilot in 2026, converting an existing basketball court into a rink and running weekly clinics for a mixed group of beginners.
